Religulous is being released in theaters across the states today. I can't wait for this to come out here, but sadly, I think it's going to be AGES until we get it in Australia. If we get it at all that is.
I'm looking forward to hearing the reviews as they start to flow in over the next few days, and I'm sure that it'll be covered in most of my favorite podcasts over the coming weeks. I guess that we'll just have to be happy with experiencing it vicariously through others until we can get our hands on a copy for ourselves.
I'll have to see if any of the local independent cinemas would be interested in running an "Expelled-Religulous" double header. That'd be a blast!

It's good to see that someone is speaking up for atheists (I'm an agnostic myself - not exactly the same breed) who believe in leading a righteous and generous life. I agree: if God doesn't exist, does that mean I can/should do anything I want? I don't think so.

Hi Alejandro, Thankyou! We try to lead as righteous and generous lives as we can. After all, this life is the only one we know we have, so we want to make the most of it. I am interested in what you say about agnostics not being the same breed as atheists. Actually, they are two totally separate questions that are not mutually exclusive. Agnosticism addresses the question of knowledge, whereas atheism addresses the question of belief. Unless you do actually accept a god claim, you are an atheist. All Christians are atheists towards every other god except their own. We just go one god further. I personally consider myself an 'agnostic atheist' - I don't KNOW, but I also don't BELIEVE. I am always interested on other people's viewpoints on this topic. Cheers.
